Musings
Oi. Why is it that, when I'm sitting in front of my computer, regardless of whether or not I'm doing homework, it's an automatic invitation for my roommate to talk to me? Especially when it's quite OBVIOUS that I'm doing homework. I don't frequent Sparknotes.com for fun. I get on that site when I've got too much reading to do and not enough time to do it, and this would be one of those times. I would not be reading Wuthering Heights voluntarily, I can assure you of that; it's a horribly depressing book and I hate it. I know the basic storyline, and it's creepy, and scary, and rather stupid. Honestly. BOO.
But that doesn't mean that I welcome your random comments about how much Eragon sucks. Because I thought it was a good book for a 15-year-old to have written, and I'd like to see you do better at 15. I bet you were worse at 15. From what I've read of your stories, you were much, much worse at 15... I find your prose stilted even now. And, by the way, I don't care about Gabriel and what he'd do in your situation, and how hot he is, and how you wish he existed (but he DOESN'T, so why are you still bitching about it?!) and how you want to date him cause he's just like you. Which, by the way, would be a really BORING relationship. Just so you know. I also don't care about how you're stuck in your novel. I'm stuck too, but I'm TRYING to do my HOMEWORK. Not writing my novels. Not listening to your brother's butchered lyrics for TV themes or Ode to Joy. Or whatever. I don't FREAKING CARE! *dies*
It's going to be a looooong semester.
Okay. Moving on, cause it's been for freaking ever since I updated. So the heating coil in my car died, which is really depressing, because now my poor little Exploder is down in Brighton getting fixed. But the happy news is that I'm not totally car-less; I have my old Crown Victoria up here with me now (it's supposed to be Travis's but since he can't drive it yet, I get to take it til my car is fixed) and that car is SOOOOO much fun to drive. It's a bigger gas hog than the Exploder, cause it's got a helluva gigantic engine for a car that size, and it's got the smoothest ride, and it's the luxury edition (from 1996, anyway) so it's pretty nice. It doesn't have a CD player but it does have a tape player so I can make do. Besides, I have that radio transmitter thing and my iPod, so I'll be fine. But I keep trying to shift it... it's bad. And I keep forgetting to put it in park before I try to turn it off, because with the Explorer there wasn't "Park," it was just either in gear or not.
Weirdness.
And... because I can... random quiz!
Whoa. I can see it...
Hmm, what else is new? Oh, I have a new phone! Which is fun; I have the same number, I just upgraded my plan so I could have the myfaves thing and not have to pay $147 like last time when I used too many minutes talking to the same three people. So now I have a fancy new phone which could be bluetooth compatible if I had a bluetooth. And... stuff.
Yeah. Troy is calling me now, so I should go. But... yeah. Laters.
