J'ai gagner!

I win! I win I win I win! It's barely the 25th and I WON NaNoWriMo! Bwahahahaha! I have a few hundred words to write before the story is over, but I have 50,222 words, so I WIN!  *happy dance*

AND I got an A+ on my Sophia paper. She liked it so much she wanted a copy of it to save and use to teach from next year. She wasn't even supposed to tell me yet, but when I emailed her and told her about it being published, she emailed me back and was all excited and said I got an A+ and it's only the 6th A+ she's ever given in her whole life. That's the craziest thing ever.

So, just in case you were wondering, God is amazingly awesome, because there is no way I would have survived this on my own, or written that paper without his help. And I am amazingly happy.  November is a good month, after all!

Now, if I can only get this thrice-damned question paper written... I've been procrastinating on it all week because it means I have to watch Brokeback Mountain again (I watched it once already and started writing the paper from it... but eww, it's just so disgusting!) and we all know how much I'm looking forward to that.  Boo hiss.

But that's okay, it's been a good week and I refuse to let gay cowboys ruin it for me! And now, I think I'm going to put up the last of my Christmas decorations. Thanksgiving is over, folks, it's time to make with the Christmas!  *more happy dance* ^_^

OMG BRITTANY!!!! CONGRATS!!!!! *rushes down to Colorado to give ((BIG HUGS))!!!* ^.^;;; I'm so happy for you!!! I'm so glad you won!! That is awesome!! Hooray!!! And is there a way you can just get Cliff's Notes for Smokecrack Mountain or something??? Yukky!!! >.<;;
Well, even if I can't get the cliffsnotes, I bet I can find some website online that is all obsessed with the movie and has more information than I can possibly need. I bet I could find stuff on fanfiction.net, for that matter--it's amazing how much fans know about their particular favorite. I'll figure out something.
*shudders* You've a brave, brave woman, Jaya!!!! >.<;; I couldn't sit through two hours of snuggling dudes. Yuk!
Well, when it makes the grade... I can't afford to do poorly in school, because I can't pay without those academic scholarships. It's way lame, but that's my life for you.
*huggles* It'll get better, don't worry! =D

Re: in case you didn't know

Aw, thanks friend! I do what I can. Though I felt like I failed at defending it last night... really, the thing is, God was probably thinking ahead when the Bible was written (not that he's within time, but you know what I mean) and it was certainly meant to be relevant to our lives, as well. There shouldn't be any need to change what's written there, because it should transcend any cultural barriers and still give a sense of God's nature. That's the only really reliable revelation we have, and to start saying it's subjective is reallly really dangerous. I wish I'd thought to say that last night... sadly, I argue better when I'm writing than when I'm speaking. :( Whatever, that's what the paper is for!

Hey, it was fun rearranging your living room! Now we're going to have to have a movie night to test out the stadium seating and take some stuff off my list. I have some more blockbuster $ to spend. What say you?
