I made it!
Yes, ladies and gents, you read that right. It says 100,007 WORDS. I won! Not only did I win, but I won double! I mean, I won NaNoWriMo, yes, but I reached my personal goal of 100k!
Granted, the last 20,000 words will have to be either deleted or severely rewritten come December, but for right now, I'm perfectly happy with my words right where they are.
The funny thing is, my word processor still tells me I have 300 words to go. Which I might be willing to write later, but, meh, according to the official NaNo site I've won, and that's all that really matters. Now I can focus on more important things, like homework, and sleep, and stuff.
But... *admires word count* isn't it lovely? That's the longest piece of fiction I have ever written in my whole life! (For those of you who are curious, it comes out to 156 pages of single-spaced, mostly 12-point font (a half-page in the beginning is 6-point because it's stuff I know has to be deleted come December), 1-inch-margins prose. That would be a 300-page paper if formatted to your standard teacher's specifications.
And I did it in 26 days. Oh yeah.

Congratulations!
